My Story
They say that a dream job is an overlap between what you love to do, what you're good at, and what someone will pay you to do.
Well, I didn't know Marketing was what I wanted to do early in life, I realized it was EXACTLY what I wanted to do after I started working in different departments and with different teams at my first corporate job in my early twenties.
I grew up in Mexico, a country full of color, culture, tradition, and FLAVOR! I am the middle child in a family of 5 girls, and our house was anything but monotonous.
I have four sisters. Yeah, I know. I don’t know what my parents were thinking, either. They were so young and innocent... I blame it all on dad, he wanted a boy so badly... After five daughters, though, even the old man had to give it up. I don’t know how my parents survived it.
It amazes me that we all grew up in the same house with the same parents and yet we all are different and unique. I like that about us. We all have different interests and tastes. We all had different experiences in school and participated in different activities. We had separate interests and hobbies. We played different sports or practiced different arts and yet, we all click when we come together. All that diversity makes us all fit.
My sisters are my biggest flex and I just couldn't write about them here.
They played a huge role in shaping the person that I am today. I don't know how my parents did it, but they raised five smart, independent, creative girls who love to laugh... and eat!
I moved to the US after graduating from High school, I went to Utah Valley University where I studied Business Management while still learning a new language and culture.
I always enjoyed being creative and the psychology behind people's motivations and behaviors.
I love reliability and versatility and all of those qualities can only find that in this profession. It gives one the authorization to inspire, be innovative, confident, convincingly manipulative, cautious yet adventurous, flexible yet strategic... I love the fact that I'm secure, safe, and lost in its embrace.
